The FCWS On-the-Job (OJT) Training Program provides businesses with an opportunity to train new hires at a reduced cost.
Maryland Business Works is a grant program designed to support employer strategies for upgrading the skills of currently employed workers. The program provides funds for businesses to train incumbent workers in specific skills needed by the business or industry. Training projects result in the workers’ acquisition of transferable skills or an industry-recognized certification or credential, and are intended to lead to potential career growth and increased wages to help with employee retention.
"The Maryland Business Works Program has been such a helpful tool for us. The process is easy and simple. We highly recommend any business in Frederick to take advantage of the terrific services you offer."
