Firefighter/EMT Recruit

As a Firefighter or EMT, you'll often be the first on the scene to help in a variety of emergency situations. From emergency medical services, the rescue and care of victims, the containment of hazardous materials, and fire prevention, these positions require you to take action and make informed decisions on the spot to help our community. Firefighter recruits that are accepted for the upcoming 6-month class will receive more than 850 hours of coursework and training in areas such as emergency medical training, emergency vehicle operation and operations with hazardous materials.
