Security
As a Security Officer, you are an integral part of the facilities team. You will provide protection to people and property through patrol, investigation and the monitoring of alarms and surveillance cameras. You will escort staff, guests, and patients, maintaining strict confidentiality at all times. You may be periodically needed to assist in applying patient restraints, providing emergency response, apprehending criminal violators, and leading preliminary investigations into thefts, shortages, and other complaints. You will have a keen eye for safety and create safety awareness among patients, staff, and visitors.
Companions
As a Patient Care Companion, you are part of the care team. You will assist the team in providing a safe environment for patients under the direction of a licensed team member. Your shift will entail reviewing patient histories, continually observing patients for changes in their behavior, alerting staff when any changes occur that could jeopardize their safety. You may also be responsible for aiding patients in their access to toileting, reading material and nutrition as approved by nursing staff.
CNA’s
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you are part of the care team. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, you'll perform a wide range of nursing care activities and related services to provide care for the personal needs and comfort of patients. This may entail assisting patients in hygiene, feeding, and taking medication all while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
MA’s
The Medical Assistant (MA) performs clinical duties and some administrative function under the direction of medical group providers to include preparing patients for examination, taking and recording vital signs, patient histories, and assisting with various procedures. They may aid in processing electronic prescription refills and obtaining prior authorizations from insurance companies.
Pharmacy Tech
The Pharmacy Technician performs a variety of duties and technical tasks structured to assist the pharmacist, patients, and other healthcare providers. These tasks are designed to support the medication distribution system for hospital patients. The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Supports the medication dispensing practice through accurate preparation of doses, delivery of medications via computerized tube system or hand delivered as needed, maintenance of Pyxis stock, CII Safe, and processes discharges and transfers. Performs stock billing functions. Assures that medication stock is in date and not deteriorated through monthly assigned checks. Repackages medications supporting the unit dose systems. Assists with monthly cleaning and disinfecting clean room per established procedure. Self-directed to work in an efficient and organized complying with hospital policies and procedures. Performs all duties of Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Participates in continuous process improvement initiatives.
EHS Cleaning
As part of the Environmental Health Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sterile environment within the facilities. You will follow a thorough 10-step cleaning and servicing regiment to ensure an orderly, systematic cleaning using pre-approved products, tools, and procedures. With a customer service mindset you will ensure the facilities remain safe and clean with respect for patients, visitors and staff.
Patient Access
As a Patient Access Lead, you will be interacting with patients, customers and employees, managing patient accounts and registration. With attention to detail, you will complete various patient registration tasks which may require use of various office equipment such as computer software, copiers, fax machines, and calculators.
Unit Secretary
Unit Secretaries are an integral part of the nursing staff. You will be responsible for providing a variety of receptionist and clerical duties relating to the updating and organization of information on the nursing units; coordinating work with the unit as well as with other units/departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries and requests from staff personnel, etc.
Lab Assistant
As a Lab Assistant, you are an integral part of the diagnostics team. You will work under the supervision of a pathologist or cytotechnologist to process a variety of specimens for testing. You will perform clerical and receiving functions associated with the timely, accurate, reproducible reporting of results for cytology and histology specimens.
Access Registrar
As an Access Registrar, you are part of the patient intake team. You'll obtain accurate, pertinent demographic and insurance information prior to services, thus reducing financial risk of third party denials and delayed collection processes for services both at on and off site facilities.
Call Center Specialist
As a Call Center Specialist, you'll be part of the customer service team. You are the first person patients, customers, and other professionals will reach when calling in. You'll receive calls, manage the telephone queue when there is a large volume of callers, and direct them to the appropriate staff through an AMR system. You also may schedule appointments and gather basic patient information.
COVID Test Site
As part of the COVID Test Site Team, you'll ensure the smooth operation of the testing sites. You'll be assigned to tasks through the entire process of testing from taking patient demographics, directing them through the center, registering them into the EHR System, generating and scanning diagnostic labels, collecting specimen, and calling patients with results. This temporary position has an opportunity to become permanent employees upon the close of the testing site.
