Staff Profile: Meet Paige Marley
Paige Marley is a Program Specialist for FCWS. We asked Paige about her role at FCWS, what she likes about workforce development, and how she spends her free time.
Tell us about your role at FCWS?
Program Specialist - Youth & Young Adults. I work primarily with young people, connecting them to job opportunities, helping increase their job readiness skills, and supporting them along their job search and career exploration journeys.
What do you like best about working in workforce development?
I love the sense of belonging and support both internally (at our office) and externally (working out in the community). Everyone is doing all they can to help others, it's amazing to see!
If you had $30,000 to donate to a workforce development program, what would you want done with it?
It may be biased, but I would want to donate to our Summer Jobs Program so that we could allow more youth to participate. I would also want to donate to our Resilient Frederick County team and all the programs they run, they do fantastic work.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Listening to music and going to concerts are my two favorite things to do! I enjoy going for walks when it's nice out, especially in the Spring and Fall. I also love spending time with my boyfriend, friends, and family. They mean the world to me :)
