We are in a time where people are doing their best to turn lemons into lemonade. A few businesses have found some silver linings during this crisis. Curbside pick-up and buying local gifts were some immediate trends in the response to Maryland bars, restaurants, gyms, and movie theaters closing on Monday.
FoodPRO, a local food distribution company, came up with an out-of-the-box solution to keep business flowing while supporting their clients - independent restaurants. Other companies, who make spirits, not lemonade, are using their equipment and byproducts to make hand sanitizer. McClintock Distillery Co. and Tenth Ward Distillery Co. stated they are making hand sanitizer for local emergency responders, customers, and the local community.
