Staff Profile: Max Dougé
Max Dougé is a Senior Business Development Specialist for FCWS. We asked Max about his role at FCWS, what he likes about workforce development and how he enjoys spending his time outside of the office.
What is your role at FCWS?
Senior Business Development Specialist... I support and assist the local business community with their workforce needs, making connections to job seekers and community partners for potential workforce solutions.
What do you like best about working in workforce development?
There's a great deal of satisfaction in being a part of facilitating the connection of parties (businesses, industry leaders, job seekers, educators, and others) toward outcomes that positively impact individuals and our community.
If you had $30,000 to donate to a workforce development program, what would you want done with it?
I grew up with a love of sports. There are numerous skills young athletes develop that become transferable to everyday life, including the workforce environment. It would be nice to see programs help young athletes learn how to apply those skills beyond their sports endeavors and connect them to the work environment at an early age. I think they would be better prepared as teens and young adults for the workforce, and businesses would benefit greatly.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
You'll likely find me doing something with my family... dinners/celebrations, movies, soccer, and more.
